Social media guide

Brighton Grammar uses social media to advance the vision as a school that understands the unique challenges of a complete education for boys.

We aim to inform the Brighton Grammar community about the values of the school to drive engagement and encourage our fans to celebrate the unique Tonner spirit with their friends and followers.

All Brighton Grammar staff and students using social media on behalf of, or in referencing the School, should do so with thought, purpose, integrity and accuracy.

Account Management

It is not the policy of the School to have additional social media accounts beyond those listed as official accounts to ensure brand consistency. From time to time, accounts may be allowed, however this will be provided only if it adheres to certain criteria.

Before creating a social media account on any platform on behalf of BGS, Marcomms must be advised, as we need to track all online content representing BGS.

When creating or managing a social media account for BGS, ensure access credentials are shared by at least two people as well as the Marcomms team, in case a team member is unreachable or is no longer at the School.

The official BGS logo is reserved for the profile images of the official BGS social media channels. Please consult with Marcomms about alternative images for your account.
